There are a lot of different scales out there - but we need to make sure the one you use is accurate and readable. You have two options:
You may use any scale that:
(1) has an upright, front-facing display that is visible to the camera during all shots (does not have to be readable during all shots); and
(2) is located in a public place that HealthyWage personnel can visit (health clubs and clinics are okay), and
(3) is in good visible repair; and
(4) is accurate, and
(5) measures weight in American pounds, and
(6) can be shown in the weigh-in video with a read-out of zero pounds prior to the participant’s weigh-in.
The bathroom scale must:
(1) be a digital scale;
(2) not have been modified or rigged---mechanically, electronically or otherwise;
(3) be in good visible (and actual) repair;
(4) be accurate,
(5) measure weight in American pounds, and
(6) be shown in the weigh-in video with a read-out of zero pounds prior to the participant’s weigh-in, and
(7) must be on a hard surface (not on a carpet or rug)
