You're only required to weigh in twice - once at the start and once at the end of your 12-week challenge. But is weighing in just twice a best practice for weight loss?

The Truth:  Nope! Research shows that the people who weigh themselves more frequently have better weight loss success. More truth:  once they've achieved their goal, people who continue to weigh themselves at least once a week are more likely to keep the weight off than those who do not.

Weighing yourself provides objective feedback and increases awareness of your habits that either support or suppress your weight loss efforts. 

We recommend you weigh yourself at least once per week at the same time of day and under the same conditions each time. Stick with your weigh-in schedule even if you indulged more or less than normal the day before. Whatever frequency you choose, keep it consistent so you get a true measure of the trend over time. Plus, you'll earn a ribbon for each weekly weigh-in on the site!
